The legendary American rock band will be on its first tour after an absence of eight years, with concerts in the United Kingdom and Spain, stopping off at the La Riviera Hall on 18 June 2024. On this occasion, the acclaimed group from Los Angeles will delight its followers performing such emblematic songs as Jane Says, Ocean Size or Mountain Song, among others.
Perry Farrell continues at the helm of one of the most successful alternative bands of the 1990s. Guitarist, Dave Navarro, drummer, Stephen Perkins and bass player, Eric Avery will accompany Farrell on this latest European tour of the United Kingdom and Spain.
Since getting together in 1985, the American rock band began its career and launched its debut album, Jane´s Addiction, giving rise to a further two studio albums Nothing's Shocking (1988) and Ritual de lo habitual (1990).
With its first farewell tour in 1991, Jane's Addiction placed the first edition of the Lollapalooza Festival on the international stage. Today, it is one of the best known alternative rock festivals. Since then, the band has broken up and got back together (in 1997, with the bass player, Flea replacing Avery on a one-off tour; in 2001, with Martyn LeNoble and, later, with Chris Chaney).
In 2003, the band replaced the acclaimed album, Strays, got back together for a world tour in 2008 and released the hit album, The Great Escape Artist, in 2011. In spite of taking a break from Europe, Spanish fans have been able to watch them live at events like Rock in Rio Madrid 2010 or the Mad Cool Festival 2016.
