The Teatro Real is opening the sixth season of Flamenco Real, under the artistic management and production of SO-LA-NA, consolidating the presence of flamenco in its Dance Hall, with a wide-ranging and diversified programme. From 18 October 2023 to 19 July 2024, there will be a total of ten shows featuring leading artists from flamenco song and dance, such as Amador Rojas, Olga Llorente, Eduardo Guerrero, El Farru or Yolanda Osuna.
The sixth season of Flamenco Real focuses once more on today’s most renowned flamenco dancers and their different and enriching ways of interpreting the tradition of flamenco dance, accompanied by prestigious musicians and flamenco singers.
In this latest edition, artists who have taken part in previous seasons, such as El Yiyo, Eduardo Guerrero, Yolanda Osuna, Marco Flores, Ángeles Gabaldón, Daniel Casares and El Farru, will be back on stage, and the flamenco dancers Olga Llorente and Concha Jareño will make their debut at the Teatro Real. The only exception to dance will be Daniel Casares, a guitarist of great international renown.
These artists are united by the bond of tradition, where the deep roots of flamenco lead the way, but their unique personalities and new outlooks ensure that the spectator finds different forms of expression in each concert.
Flamenco Real is a concert series that forms part of the Teatro Real’s policy to promote and defend flamenco, which is organising international tours under the name of Authentic Flamenco, as well as having incorporated it into its MyOperaPlayer audiovisual platform.
