Anitta, Grammy-nominated international super-star will be performing at La Riviera on 3 July as part of her much awaited Baile Funk Experience Tour. The Brazilian artist will be performing songs from her latest studio album, Funk Generation, which will be released at the end of April this year.
Ever since she burst onto the music scene in Brazil, Anitta has become the leading artist of a new generation of Latin American music. She rose to fame in Brazil and Portugal thanks to the single, Show das Poderosas in 2013, which led her to release her first studio album the same year. A year later, she released her second album, Ritmo Perfeito (2014), and at the Latin Grammy Award ceremony at the end of 2014, she performed Zen, a song nominated in the category of Best Brazilian song.
Her song, Envolver released in 2022 became the greatest solo debut by a Brazilian artist in the history of the Spotify global chart and she reached Number One on en iTunes in 19 countries. At the forefront of introducing Brazilian funk to the world, the singer won the award for Best Brazilian Performance at the MTV Europe Music Awards for five consecutive years. In 2022, she made headlines again by becoming the first Brazilian solo artist to perform at the popular Coachella Festival.
Now, the artist is embarking on a world tour with more than 20 dates, which will kick off in Mexico and will take her to cities like Los Angeles, New York, Miami, Chicago or Toronto. After the North American tour, Anitta will take the Funk Generation Tour to South America and then to Europe.
